A Trip to Auschwitz

One of the main reasons why people come to Poland is to visit the concentration camp of Auschwitz. While this is not a happy trip or tour, it is an important place to see if you are in the area. With a number of educational exhibits and tours, you will find out more about what happened in this camp, why it happened, and why it should never happen again. You will need a strong stomach to visit the camp, but this is something that everyone should see at some point, if they have the chance.

Poland is a country with a mixed history, often because of other countries invading or taking over. While this country is still trying to find its new identity in the world, there are many different places to explore and historical sites to visit. Here, you will find out more about people as a whole and how resilient the human spirit really is – despite what might happen to it.
